The program seems very simple to use, but did not convert my Sony Handy Cam files. I tried the Pro Version Trial after i had down loaded this version and it did what i needed but this version did not. I wasted my money on this version and now have to spend money again to get the pro version

It converted my MOD files, but then it made them terrible quality. They came out pixelated and disorted even on the highest settings. A free way to convert files is to open the file and change it from .MOD to .mpeg then just open it in adobe premiere and it works fine. You dont need this rip off program

Same experience as another user. Icon just bounces and only option is to force quit.

First downloaded old version 2.9.1 and had issues with no video only audio. I contacted Customer Support and they were extremely helpful, upgraded me to 3.0, and solved my problem. Good, timely service definitely goes a long way. Quality is very good and the product is very easy to use.

After several days searching for a .mod converter I fanlly called Apple to find out if latest version of iMovie can import them. They told me no, but suggested I look on the App site. I found MOD-converter. It does waht it says and does it failry quickly compared to other options. This one is a keeper

The program converts mod to other formats wonderfully but there is one major flaw. When you add a MOD file that is 16:9 it does not read the format correctly and there is no way of telling the program it is 16:9. Therefore all MOD videos converted will be 4:3. Once this is fixed I will update my review to 5 stars.

I purchased this app because of its good reviews. With every movie I have attempted to convert the output video file have messed up the sound to the video. it changes as the video plays the sound will be offset by 1-10 seconds its very annoying and this app was a complete waste of money. Not to mention when I asked for a refund they treated me like it was my fault their software didnt work and refused a refund.

It converted an 11 MB MOD file into a 3.4 MB MPG file, but it took nearly a minute to convert a 10 second clip. At that rate, it would take 30 hours to convert 6 hours of video. Not very practical. In fact, basically unusable. Waste of $10.

Too slow. I mean really disgusting that they peddle this. It is totally useless. Dont waste your money. I am trying to convert both .mod and .tod files and the speed is horrendous.

Do MOD and TOD video files conversion well as it stated it would. Now zero problem to put my Panasonic videos to iMovie do some more editings or just put onto my portable devices playback.

I have noticed that this series of video converters specialize in every specific format conversion type. There are various separate converters for format of original file. I think it’s really nice! This has the advantage of optimizing the converter for the specific task. I’ve used this one, it was fast and did a good job to very good conversion. I converted a 258mb file of HD mod to mp4 format in less than 5 minutes.

Im going on a vacation. I have lots of nice movies which are MOD formats. I really need convert them to my iPad for enjoying them on the road to destination. I noticed this app has upgraded its version, and I purchased it. It hasnt cut the buck and performed remarkable. I think I will try other products which are belong to this developer.

This is an awesome program. I can upload multiple MOD files at once for batch conversion. And it converts with very fast speed because I finished 5-video conversion in 8 minutes. Meanwhile, the video editing tools are helpful. It’s a great app worth for 5 Stars.

I was glad to download this MOD Converter today. It goes beyond the abilities that are revealed in the former one I have ever used. Now I can convert MOD files to any other formats on my Mac easily and edit it as my needs. I really think this is a nice app which is worth supporting!

Program’s icon bounces in my doc for a very long time. Then the icon sits there frozen, no window. Nothing to do but Force Quit. I tried reinstalling it, but no difference. It simply does not launch. Man, $10 for nothing.

Our daughter used an “older” panasonic SDR-S26 to video a school project. Panasonic does not have drivers to support this camera anymore. So my wife and I were panicking on how to convert the videos. We came across this life saving software MOD Converter. We easily updated her videos and now I am updating other videos as I’m getting ready to watch a football game in peace. Definitely a winner!
